RE: Enquiry thomas Kick-down linkage for Poly manifold

Thomas,

Not sure if this is going to you direct, but hopefully it gets forwarded to you.  We are far from “stuck” for kick-down linkage.

Most Mopar like would be the Bouchillon hardware.  My ’62 Dart wagon has a round hole thru the firewall for the throttle cable, so your ’62 Fury must be the same.  To remove just the throttle cable, there is a C-shaped keeper under the dash.  Or remove (4) bolts to remove the pedal linkage and cable mount.

I chose the Lokar aluminum carb bracket and black cables.  Lokar throttle cable TC-1000U / Bracket TCB-40DQ / Tranny kick-down cable KD-2727U

I just like the looks and simplicity of Lokar.  While engne is out for rebuild, been mocking up the manifold.  I mounted the Lokar throttle cable the other day thru the firewall.  Was very straight forward even though not a Mopar specific throttle cable.
