Re: Accessories circuit breaker

Sometimes you can turn the light switch left and right a few times and clean up the corrosion so the dash lights work.

You can check the ohm readings for the temp sensor to see what you get and test that it is working.
http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/interior-electrical/23241-instrument-gauges-repair/ is an article on the 62-65 tech page.

Thanks,

The instrument lights on the 64 are inop as well as the oil press warning lt and the temp guage. The wiring diagram I downloaded indicates I should have an accessories circuit breaker. There is a spot in the fuse box labeled accessories but it is empty and it is obviously not intended for a glass fuse. What type of current limiting device is supposed to be there. PN?

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
