I think the condenser like part may be a radio noise suppression capacitor. To eliminate one variable, did you hook up each of the 3 radios on a bench to verify they worked? ALWAYS have a speaker hooked up to the radio before applying 12 V power. Thanks, Gary H. > -------Original Message------- > From: Bob Faunce > > Hi - I tested the voltage limiter and it is OK. Just to be sure I tested and installed another voltage limiter with no change. The fuel gauge still doesn't move except a very small amount. > > Regarding the radio, I have installed 3 transaudios I had on hand and all I get is a hum, which did not change with a new antenna. > > I think these problems may be related but I don't know how. > > Below is a picture of the back of my instrument cluster (65 Barracuda). It is different than what is shown in the factory manual or from any picture I found on the Internet. Does anyone know what the condenser like part next to the voltage limiter is? It is not shown in the manual. Thanks, Bob -- -- -- Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
