My coverage is for 2 cars – 65 Barracuda with an agreed upon value of $14,000 and a 95 Miata with an agreed upon value of $8500. Last year I paid $146 for the Barracuda and $258 for the Miata. The Miata is extremely low mileage and top condition, which is why Hagerty agreed to include it in the policy despite its age. These prices don’t include the 15% increase. My problem seems to be getting the Miata under a classic car policy. I will keep poking around. Up here in Saskatchewan my insurance cost me $75 per year to have it covered for agreed on value. To actually drive the car I have to plate my 65 Polara for an additional $15 per month roughly.
