Re: Dynomax Mufflers

I prefer Borla mufflers.I have them on my 62 Polara with a stock 413 in front of them 2 1/2" exhaust. Great tone no drone. Also on my crazy 71 Challenger 512 six pack with 3" exhaust. Sound awesome. Would never buy any other performance muffler.   My 2 cents from My experience

Bill,
The Dyno Max Super Turbo is a very quite 700 cfm muffler. What I'm sure you were looking for was the sound of the Dyno Max Ultra Flow 2000 cfm muffler. I ran these on my Max Wedge and they were very loud. My Poly stroker runs Spin Tech Galexie mufflers with a TTI X-Pipe, even louder than the Ultra Flows.

Subject: Dynomax Mufflers

Just got exhaust done on the Coronet. He installed 2.5" pipe, Dynomax Super Turbo's #17733, and an X-pipe. Anyone had any experience with these mufflers? I'm pretty sure they are the one's TTI sells with their exhaust system kits. Anyway, I gotta say I'm NOT impressed. It's so quiet it sounds stock. My old 2" system with manifolds & cheap turbo mufflers sounded better. I don't know how the X-pipe plays into it (I've never had one on a car) but I'm ready to cut them off the car already and I only got them put on Wednesday.

Any thoughts or comments?
