I just looked at another book and you're right, all the photos of 330's have 4 lights.

I was remembering a 1964 Dodge 330 "B" body drag race car with one tail light per side. I guess he did that tail light delete to reduce more weight. All the 330s I see online now have 2 tail lights per side, for example:
