OK, I just HAD to click on the link, just wondering what might be for sale with that ridiculous description. When the page opened and i saw that mighty nice looking AVANTI!!! I was really flabbergasted! Oddly enough (it seems) the description of the car seems accurate and knowledgeable, with no hype! Makes me wonder about the mindset of the sales folks! I can't help but think that they posted that ad as a lure for folks like me. I never liked the Avanti, mostly because of the asymmetrical styling, but over the years I've come to admire the Studebaker folks for making and marketing it. Too bad it was just "too little - too late" to save a company that had some really cool ideas...
