I'm thinking the valve body is OK, but you MUST swap your 64 rooster comb
and cable attachment "clamp" into the 65 trans...65 comb has more bumps as
it has Park. It's pretty easy...just ...more

A lot depends on the 65 tranny that you have. A column shifted 65 does
not have a rooster comb mounted to the valve body. A rooster comb is
essential for it to work with the buttons. ...more
