don, i use the cast aluminum mopar valve covers as they are taller to support my harland sharp roller rockers. then i use the felpro cork gaskets (1610) with 3M super weather strip adhesive on the valve cover side and nothing on the head side of the gasket. i have not replaced the gaskets for years and i remove the valve covers 20+ times a year to adjust valves, inspect heads, etc.

i had to open the breather hole on driver's side evac tube to the header bung (see pics)
