Re: Street Tires for GO

MO, I put El Dorado's on mine recently.  About the least expensive in a tire that still has some quality to them.  I have 275/60/15 on the back.  Don't have enough miles on them for a real review, but I like them so far.  I think they are made by Cooper.

Hi Steve

I really don't have an opinion, I'm running Bridgestone brand SUV tires because I chose 17" rims and that narrowed my choices. I will suggest trying "tirerack.com" website. You can plug in the tire size you want and see a huge list of what is out there. A lot of the tires either have reviews or they have done some testing and have reports. I found it to be a real time saver! You can purchase the tires from them and use a "suggested" installer, or use your own. Their prices are very competitive.

Good Luck!

I need new street  tires for the back of my 64 Dodge big block 4 speed.  I don't care about treadwear I just want the most  dry traction  in a lower priced tire that would be available from a local tire dealer. I'm thinking under $300 for the pair of larger 15" tires.  anything better than BFG Radial T/A or Cooper Cobra?  I would like your opinions.............................MO
