there's a junkyard here i started going to with my dad in the seventies,then  later when i myself got into cars in 1981. They had lots of cool stuff back then, and still had a fair amount  of it up to  2008.   About 2000 when i got back into cars they still  had all sorts of old  stuff, mopars, chevies, fords, , u name it.  Same policy - parts only. So many mopars I was helping people out on the internet pulling this and that from the mopars and shipping it out, at a  very minimal profit to me, basically charging only for my time I spent pulling it.And they were always bringing in new mopars. Every week it was different. I still have a lot of stuff i pulled there squirreled away in my  personalcollection.One week I yanked 7 complete 73-up  A-body disc brake setups, just cause Ehrenberg put out an article on the upgrade,  so  i was like "well I better nab this stuff". 50 bucks a setup.Complete b-body 8.75 rears drum to drum for 100 bucks each, etc..etc.You get the idea.One time a pristine 72 coronet wagon showed up with a 440, looked like day one. I begged  the guy to sell me the whole car, "Parts only". went back three times before i gave up. Same thing with a dodge 880 and a 64 Polara hardtop, and a 68 dodge dart.Then one day in 2008 I went out to find something I needed, I walked back into the old stuff area. GONE!!!  All of it. sold for scrap weight, i don't know if the price went up or what, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the owner. He just shrugged. I was very depressed the rest of the week., verging on the edge of hospitalization.

He directed me to the back row up against a wooden fence under a big tree. There were four- all in a row.

The one that comes first to mind was a 1965 Plymouth Fury 2 door that had just been put out in the row at a Pick A Part self serve junkyard near me. That was in the early 1990s. The Fury was complete, rust-free with a perfect interior, a high #3 or even #2 car. I almost cried to see it there. Once in the yard they will not sell the entire car, only parts off it. All I could think then was the car was a one-owner that the person died and the family junked "that old car" just to get rid of it. Sigh. To add insult, back than Pick A Part paid hardly nothing when they bought a car for their yard.

What Mopar do you recall seeing?
