I don't think you could adjust them because of the bolts.  They have a bunch of different sizes. Upon my first roll under my new ride, I looked at my header flange, yep, just like all the rest, not flat. I need to buy some real headers for my car like some TTIs or Dougs. But at 600 or so for just the headers I do make a gulping sound.

Interesting – no gasket – adjustability – I do run Flowmaster 50’s on the Poly – had 40’s on her but after the rebuild added mild cam and 4bbl wind tunnel manifold -  she seemed a little too loud.  Now she’s mellow in normal driving, loud when you want it to be – when you are on it………….

anybody ever used these kits? One guy I talked to said he had run them on every hot rod he owned and never had a bit of problems with them. They get rid of the three bolt flange setup on your headers. Looks like some welding is required.
