Re: Fan / Clutch-fan What will fit

I installed the 7 blade fan I got from fellow lister Gary W. and finally got a chance to try it out yesterday.  The temps were in the mid to low 80's and there is a definite improvement.  The temp still creeps up a little like before when you come into town after highway driving and have to idle at a stop light etc. But not nearly as high.  And bring the idle rpm up to 1500 and  it will even start to creep down.
So to recap what I have done regarding this issue.  I first installed a higher flow water pump, no help.  I then installed an aluminum radiator, a tiny bit of help.  And now the 7 blade fan.  If the day wasn't too hot I might even be able to drive it in a parade.  I'm sure a shroud would be the final piece of the puzzle.  And I may spring for that some day.

Thanks Again to Gary W.

I sent you a text message with my address.  And, no I don't need the spacer etc.

Thanks Again, Paul

Still chasing cooler running temps.  Everything tells me my problem is air flow.  I'm running a 4 blade fan which I'd like to replace with a 7 blade or a clutch-fan.  Before I make a trip to the U-Pull-It yard can anyone tell me what will fit as far as bolt pattern?  I've got a fairly tight space with only 3 1/8" between the face of the water pump pulley and the radiator and 5/8" between the fan and the radiator.  I am running a 1" spacer which can be eliminated with the use of a clutch-fan.  This is all on a stock 440 w/ C.I. water pump.

Thanks, Paul L.
