Re: 413 water pump pulley change for more flow at idle

My car had an electric fan on it when I bought it.  It was no help.  Higher flow water pump was the first thing I tried on my 440, no help, aluminum radiator, a little help, next is a shroud.  I've been procrastinating on that because I can't see $250 for a repro shroud.  But by all accounts that is the ultimate solution.  Also a radiator support to hood rubber seal is recommended.  These were put on a/c equipped cars back in the day.
I was at a car show recently and talked to guy who had a big block stroker in his '63.  He had purchased what I would call a minimal shroud from Summit.  It was basically just a curved piece of metal about 3" wide and only went over the top half of the fan and fastened with those plastic "toggles" that go through the radiator core. He claimed it helped.  Mopar Performance sells a fan shroud for '67 - '69 big block B bodies.  $87.97 on Summit:  p/n P2785434.  I'm not sure but I think those late '60's B bodies had a much wider radiator, something like 26" vs. 22" on our cars.  Maybe someone who has one can confirm or debunk that.

Good Luck, Paul L.

I would like to spin the water pump faster for better cooling at idle since this is just going to be street car.
Does anybody have any recommendations on pulley sizes and sources. I'm running power  steering without AC
