Why don't you try a Flow Cooler water pump? It's has so many more impellers than a standard air condition water pump. I put 1 on my 440 and it solved my cooling problem. Hope this might help.

If you use the A/C brackets and pulleys, you will spin the pump faster.
The only tricky part will be the alternator (normally on the same belt as the A/C compressor), but you could probably get it in line with the power steering pump.
