Re: Pull engine with transmission attached?

In one word, yes.  It also makes it easier if you take off your hood.  Did it with my 65 Polara when we swapped out the 318 for the 440.

Subject: Pull engine with transmission attached?

Hello,

I'm going to be pulling the engine and transmission out of my 64 Belvedere.

When I pull the 383 and 4-speed transmission out of my 64 SF I can pull them together.  Can I do the same with my 64 that has a 318 Poly and 727 automatic?  I need to work on both the engine and transmission.

Thanks
Dennis C.
