RE: torsion bar question



In my '62 wagon with 318 Poly went up a step from .88 dia stock - to .92 dia - (Mopar Performance P5249157).  Gained a more "modern" compliant ride, as compared to the stock boat like ride.

Looks like that dia is what Classis Industries lists for a 440........

"Best" is subjective. If you want a stiffer ride and better handling, you want the bigger bars. Some people prefer this sportier feel even if it's not a race car. If you just want to sail around in your boat, the smaller original bars will be fine.
