Re: Welcome new member - 1964 Chrysler

Very cool Mitchell,  In the past I have owned 3 '64 Chryslers, a Newport 4dr HT, and two New Yorkers, one HT and one sedan.  Great cars to drive.  Would like another someday.  My first Mopar, and driving experience was on a 160 acre  boondocks in NW Iowa, but the car was a '48 Dodge, fluid drive and suicide rear doors.  My uncle split the exhaust manifold and we had dual pipes straight up thru a hole in the hood !!  I was 9 years old.  That made me a Mopar man for life !!
Welcome !!

Welcome new member Mitchell. Below is his introductory message.

Thanks,

==================

I love the early Mopars especially the 58-74 years.When I was 10yrs old my older brother sold me his 64 Chrysler Newport.the only reason my parents agreed to this was because we lived on 80 acres of land out in the boondocks of NW Alabama and as long as I only drive on our property and used my chore money for gas & oil.I drove that car for the next 5 yrs.and have been wanting another one or other Mopar from that era ever since I parked it in 1979.
