I R&R and bead blast my 61yr. old tailight sockets (not sand blast) and they come out like new...as well as headlite buckets and all other parts that you cannot "see."

Yes, you must use Permatex LOCTITE RED on your NEW convertor bolts and toque to specs; you must always use NEW convertor bolts every time you R&R your convertor...well, at least I do for protection; this is not a place to be "cheap" and have a very expensive trans/convertor failure for the cost of a few bolts.
