Re: Master cylinder conversion complete

My wife never complains about my car addiction (or bike addiction for that matter) and is willing to help when needed.  She enjoys rides on a nice day in the ragtop, and doesn't mind cruise in's or shows either.  She does tend to come out to the garage when it is getting late... just to see if I'm  "alright".
I think she was prouder than I was last summer when we had a couple big wins at a good show, which was the first one this car has been to in many many years.  Full dis-closer it took me a 6 year girl friend and an 18 year first marriage to find one that was cool with my addictions !!  Point is.. take care of that good woman on birthdays, anniversary's and Valentines day !!!

You have a wonderful wife to encourage your car hobby!  My wife really doesn’t like cars all that much but it was her genius that turned our two-car garage into three car garage with workshop – smart cookie.

Pity the poor guy that has a wife that haters his car project  and will have nothing to do with it.  My wife has been a huge help  in useing her eyes to see what I can't  and her willingness to help when asked. She even bought me a metal detector to find small parts lost in the grass!............................MO

Glad you got yours done too.  My wife also aided in the bleeding process.  Went very well, she didn't appreciate having to sit on the floor to do it...but didn't want to put the seat back in until I was sure it was all good.  She likes to assist when she can.
On a serious note. I had the cost of the master, plus another 70 bucks in pre-made lines and distribution block.  Paul certainly got his done more economically.

No, still fighting the overheating.  I don't think it will be solved until I get a shroud.

Finally got back to the brake work on my '63.  Can't test it out just yet as we went from 67 degree weather to a blizzard in the span of 3 days last week.  However, after all connections, and bleeding the system, it has a solid pedal.
I've included a link to pictures of the parts for the conversion for those that are interested.  This was a kit from Inline Tube for the new lines and distribution block from the master.
