Re: Electric fuel pump

An electric fuel pump likes to be mounted as close to the tank within reason and use an isolator kit to minimize noise. Run a coarse pre filter before the pump and a normal fuel filter after the pump towards the engine. Normally a relay is needed because of the current draw typical of a electric pump. Good luck.

 Hi

What would be a good place for
mounting an electric fuel pump (carter pn 152-875)
 On a 1964 Polara,
I read that anywhere between the
tank and carb should be okay??
 And do I need a
 relay

 Thanks
