Seems unlikely that ALL the gauges are bad. You can test them. There used to be several articles online at Mopar Muscle on how to do so but they are now mucked in the corporate parent "Hot Rod" database. The Mopar Muscle link was on the 62-65 Tech page but I need to update the link. Here it is and another link from the 62-65 Tech page.

If you want oil and temp and charging gauges and are considering going back why not just hang the aftermarket gauges below in a cluster, or is that what you mean? Seems that's the easiest thing for aftermarket gauges & just run separate wires, especially if you are considering going back to the original gauges later and don't want to cut and hack
the wiring harness.

My barracudas gauges don't work. Speedo does at least. If I want to
add some aftermarket gauges like OP, amp, water temp, etc. ,do I just
piggyback off the factory wires?? The original harness was so hacked
up i found a used one in very good shape that I am installing. I don't
want to hack up my new harness installing the aftermarket gauges,
just in case i ever have the money to have my gauges all restored by
 Redline or somebody.
