Hope that is the end of problems.  For future reference, most auto parts stores has a very simple inline electric pump.  No regulator, no pressure adjustments, small enough not needed to mount to anything.  They were used for combines and were common on auxillery fuel tnmks. I had one on my truck fuel tank and it ran for years............................MO

I saw a number of guys across the street in their old Chevies so I went over and inquired if they had any access to an electric fuel pump. One guy knew a friend was in Amarillo so he called and had him get one from O'Reilly's. I think half the town was helping me. Great place and lots of Route 66 stuff here.

I hope the adventures slow down a bit now:-)
