Re: Windshield Glass

I bought mine(63Sport Fury) before they were being re-popped.  Scoured the country and found two one tinted in Minneapolis and one non-tinted in Tennessee.  Bought the one in MN, $300 + $100 Shipping + @ $100 for the gasket and $100 to install with no guarantee against breakage during install.  I see they are now more widely available. So best bet would seem to be to find a glass shop to do it and avoid all of the extra costs.

Local glass shop says $600.  Classic Industries shows either $300 or a $200 windshield glass plus $200 truck freight...............  (Rounding down to nearest $100)

Windshields for these things really cost that much?
