RE: Glass work

Actually the two installers struggled with the two side header pieces that have screws in them – because they were wrapped so tight – and being careful not to bend anything.  These guys not very familiar with old Mopars – but then who is.........  Really happy with their workmanship.  This was done mobile in my driveway, and I helped with my shop vac and fighting the rusty screws in the old clips.  They popped out the windshield.  Then by the time they had the quarter windows installed, I had freed all the rusty clips.  Think the whole thing was done in an hour and a half or so, start to finish.

Here’s where I got the NOS clips:

Had the new AMD windshield installed yesterday.  Glass + Metro seal + trim clips.

And the quarter windows reset in new PRP seals and “chrome” lock strip.

Drove it to a Chevron station afterwards, like not having a windshield it’s so clear.  The original glass was not broken, didn’t even break when they kicked it out.  But it had pits overall and the plastic lamination discolored from mother time.  They said it looked like was never replaced.
