No, that windshield was made in 1963 or later.  The pentastar became a Chrysler Corporation trademark early in 1963. 

PPG made windshields for Chrysler, thus the PPG while the pentastar denoted it was a windshield for a Chrysler product.  Prior to the pentastar they used just the DPCD symbol.

So, although it is not original, the windshield was made by Chrysler's main windshield supplier.

Sounds as if the tint is correct.
