The 425 HP 426 Wedge has 13:5 compression, so for 2 1/2 more points in compression you got 10 HP ? Yea right !!!!!!!!!!!! Keep the HP ratings LOW !

Single 4 bbl was for Nascar racing. All engines were sent to the racers not dealers.
426 Stage ll wedge 415 HP dual quads.11:1 comp., 425 Hp. 12:1 comp. Also single 4bbl for street wedge eng.365 HP.an option from dealer

If my memory is holding up,I want to say there was a single 4bbl
option, that made it a 415. Ford did the same thing with their 427
motor.
