Re: windshield wiper blades

I talked to one of the few surviving parts men that know more about parts than just what the computer tells them.  I showed him my wiper arm that has a little hole near the end where the blade attaches. They are called the " bayonet" style and usually require an ugly big black plastic adapter  to use big ugly wiper blades.  He says " just a moment" and walks back to the parts bins.  Comes back with a period correct looking , all metal blade and wiper assembly. which attached directly to my stock arm.  Only thing is, it is 15"  which will at least do the job and look  stock.  It is from NAPA and is called " Classic"  I can provide the  NAPA parts number if anyone is interested. .......................MO

Hi Steve

I'd call Joe Suchy and see what he might have.

Good luck,

Getting ready for trip to Mopars in the Park at Farmington, Minnysota  first part of June.  I need new wiper blades that will fit the stock wiper arms for my 64 Dodge B body. I don't have the old ones to compare.  Would appreciate knowing what I can use that would look  similar to stock.  Thanks .................................MO
