Re: Headliner replacement

Not sure how it will work on the floor. It is not quite the same as Dynamat.  Instead of dynamat, I used ' Boom Mat"  which is very similar. Speedway motors had the best deal. It is good for sound deadner   but maybe not so much for heat insulation. For carpeting on the 68 Satty, what I got is bonded to a  tough foam pad and covers every square inch of the bottom side.........MO

I bought the insulation from Joe Suchy with the headliner.  But I plan to buy the product you're talking about and do the floor while I'm at it. I've already taken the back seat out and will take out the fronts and pull the carpet.  I've priced it before and it is WAY cheaper than Dynamat.
Thanks for all the input.

I've started replacing the headliner in my 63.  Tore the old one out today along with all the mouse droppings etc.  ( Dirty Job)  My plan is to start at the rear when installing the new one and work forward.  I've had it laying out over the roof of the car for about 2 weeks to try and get the wrinkles to relax as much as possible.  Then will use a heat gun on the low setting to get out any remaining ones when installed.  I numbered the bows as I removed them.  Any other hints before I get started from those who have done it before?
