Re: how to install rear seat trim for convertible top boot

Thanks for the ideas. I had already tried multiple lubes.  I even tried bending it out a little with no luck.
I purchased a very long 1/4 drill bit and make the slot larger and this worked great

Thanks Mike

I am working on my 1965 Satellite and just bought a new boot for my convertible top. There is a trim piece that attached the boot to the top of the back seat.
I am having a difficult time getting the piece on the boot to slide into the groove on the trim piece.

Any ideas ?

Thanks Mike
