Hi Jerry,
Is there any particular reason you want a 413? Piston choice is very limited and the 64 transmission used the ball & trunnion universal joint in front. These are not bad just a little odd and most guys don't like them. A 440 will make more power and cost the same or less to build than a 413. If you can/desire a aftermarket shifter any later model Torqueflite (727) can be used and are stronger than the earlier, smaller input shaft models.
The 383 does have a shorter deck height than the RB models so intake manifolds will not interchange with the 413 thru 440s.
What are your plans for this car? What performance do you desire?
May I suggest searching the forums at "for B Bodies only". Tons of information there.

Hey Guy’s,

Are 1964 413's and Trannies Hard To Find? The motor is with a single 4 barrel.

This couple is in a 64 Imperial. I’m thinking of getting the hole car. It looks in bad shape.

Will they fit in most 60’s MOPARS. Like the 65 Monaco!

How much do they go for not running or unknown status?

Is that engine interchangeable with a 383, 440 & the 426?

Thanks for Your Support!

Jerry
