Hi, 15x8 rim with a 4.5" offset is the biggest rim that will fit with a tire at the rear. I have had a M&H drag radial with a 10.9" section width, 10" wide tread with as described before a full set of fingers fit on both sides, and I'm know running a 28x11.5x15LT Bias ply with a 11.2" section width, and 10" tread, with more room on both sides. Also consider the fit to get the tire in the well, same rim, the Drag Radial was harder to get up in there than the Bias.

My question is,  On a stock 1965 Coronet 500, is it possible to fit/use a set of American Racing Torq-thrust D wheels/tiers size 15x10 without having to modifying the inner wheel wells, or is a 15x8 the only way to go.

Thanks in advance,
Jay.
