I did one 3 years ago, be sure that the inlet and return tubes going through the firewall are free, the bottom door for floor heat should be in the closed position so not to interfere with the carpet. If you have everything disconnected the only thing that can hold it in place is the vibration pad between the box and the firewall. It could just be stuck to each other or may have some adhesive holding it there.
