Hey Matt can you post a picture of the new pickup? Hate to see you cut and rethread the new one. I had a new pick up split on me caused cavitation in the oil ( air bubbles) wich ultimately chewed up the crank and I had to get another

On Behalf Of Matt Allyn I am building a 383 for the 1962 Chrysler 300 Sport. I think the block is a 1969 casting. I bought an Oil Pan from Rock Auto that is for the '62 Chrysler. I bought a Melling 63S2 Oil Pick Up Screen. The length of the Screen is longer
than the 5" depth of the Pan. Anyone know a secret fix? I Plan to cut down the Oil Pickup & rethread it at this point.
