towing an automatic car

OK, maybe I have found a 62-65  mopar at last. We shall see. But something the guy said made me nervous. Its a 65 coronet 318 poly/automatic. When he brought it home he said he towed it on a dolly. I want to say i remember something about on these cars you cant do that.!!  Something about a rear pump or something. I am i right or not.
