RE: 1964 Belvedere Lower Contol Arm Bushing

I did mine with energy suspension bushings. I dont remember any issues. I used the stock shafts though. What kinda nut is it? If its a nylock nut that maybe the trouble it gets tight quick and spins the whole thing. Maybe try a impact to spin it fast or use the stock castle nuts. The bottoms I think just push together. The uppers have to be pressed in. I remember the funny thing was they came out with the greasable shafts just after I finished my car I was mad I would have gotten them. Hope this helps.

Subject: 1964 Belvedere Lower Contol Arm Bushing

I purchased the PST Poly bushings and shaft with grease fittings.  I had a machine shop install the bushings.  When I tighten the nut on the shaft that goes through the K Member the bushing turns inside of the lower control arm.

Have any of you installed this kind of bushing and if so did you have similar problems?
Thanks
Dennis C.
