Re: Paint variations-64 Sport Fury

Are you thinking of Bob Mosher in CA? He does a lot of 62-65. I not got a warm a fuzzy feeling from my one transaction with him.

It might be that Dodge Derby Red. I sent inquiries to Graveyard Carz,  West Coast Body and Paint, and Hodge Restorations.  Told them I'm willing to pay for a copy of the interior paint code chart for my car. If I have any luck, I'll post it. Trying to think of the name of the former drag racer who does mopar restorations, something like a 3 year waiting list...California somewhere I  think.

I read it as Derby Red - 71390.  It is a little easier under the Dart listing for the same color.

It is likely 1964 Plymouths and Dodges both used "Derby Red" in this case. Here is a paint chart for  1964 Dodges that
detail where "Derby Red" was used.

I don't know if the "Derby Red" Ditzler paint code number is still valid;  or also even if the printout reads 71300 or
71390, as it's hard to tell on the scanned document.

Thanks,
Gary H.
