Re: 318 poly question

Neil.  I have. Built 1 poly and loved it.  I did a cam swap and timing set. All arts you should get from Gary Pavlovich   if he doesn't chime in email me directly I'll share his contact.  I will say. I put a modest cam in it and was sorely disappointed he has a 525 lift cam I would use if building another.  But your case will depend on what gears you will be running.

Subject: 318 poly question

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on my 1964 318 poly engine. I have a 4 barrel intake coming for my poly and was talking to someone about what I was up to and he was saying I need to change the cam since I was going from a 2 barrel  to a 4 barrel. If that is the case what cam should I use?
Thanks, Neil
