My 58 was Gold,  I seem to remember it as a 'mild' GOLD.
Some pics that I have seen depending on lighting and angle make it appear
almost as silver.

  I've responded to him that mine is gold, and that the dealer trim book

  shop he bought is interior from sent silver trim.  Was silver ever used
