Help!!

My pride and joy is suffering from a severe case of "rigging-itis"! The problem is that the origional throttle linkage was tossed when the floorboard was patched (before I bought the car). Now, the rigged trottle is driving me crazy, I can't drive 2 blocks without it slipping out of position. Let me explain that I've only had the car for about a year and didn't realize the throttle was rigged when I bought it. I would like to return the assembly to stock or make a new one that would be reliable but I am not sure how to do this. If anyone has a diagram or knows where I can get one to see how to set this up properly, please let me know. Eventually, I plan to install a tipower setup on my 318 which possibly would eliminate some of the problem but I'd like to have it fixed right. thanks
