been there done that..got a spacer left also...needs to have crank register hole cut in it...did the swap with a 66 poly...becuase i had one...the only reason...for some unknown reason...the space only ended up being a 1/2 inch...works fine other than the meshing of the teeth on flywheel are for a round tooth starter and the 59 starter has blunt teeth...makes alittle noise...the bell housing is also a couple of inches longer on the cast iron unit plus it had to be trimmed to fit the flywheel...had to use a 3/4 ton dodge flywheel to make ti fit the starter...had to have disk relined and use truck pressure plate...also changed to 66 8.75 rear...could use more gear...2.76's and traffic are a chore..needs 3.23's...but its a highway car...in the end...should have put an automatic in it...correction...i should have put a 440 and an automatic in it....still might if it does not sell ...brandon
