Mine did the same thing. The seals get old and hard, and need to wait for warmup to become pliable enough to properly seal. I used two cans of Trans-X, and just like the warranty stated, within 500 miles of driving, the trans started working fine. It still should be rebuilt, but in the meantime it's a cheap cure.
