Help! My car has developed a "rattle" when under power.It is a 1957 Desoto Firedome with a 341 hemi and a Torqueflight.The tranny is recently rebuilt but I did not touch the u joints. The local mechanic thinks it is the front ball and trunion u joint.How do you check these? The joint seems tight if you push on the shaft.I know that the boot is hard to find so I have not yet cut the straps that hold it on. Any ideas? Thanks!
