The 350 crank is a different stroke than the 440. To make it work, you would have to have different pistons. The crank would work in a low block "B" engine such as a 361 or 383. To use the 440 with the early transmission you would either need the crank from a "high block" 383 or an early 413 or an adapter for the bell housing.
