http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com You can do this if you use a '62-64 pushbutton A-727 (which weighs 65 lbs. less than your A-413!), this tranny is found in every '62-64 B body with a 318 poly and your car's dash buttons will shift it (the cable hooks right up). You will need to configure a new parking brake setup (best done with a later rear axle swap, and bonus you get rid of the press-on drums and tapered axle shafts that have a bad habit of welding themselves on!) Some of the poly hop-up tips in the article can apply even if you keep the orig. trans./rear,but the hottest poly would be using the Mopar Performance stroker crank ($349!) and the later 727 and rear axles (as Mopar Muscle magazine did).
