I have the paint chips for the '57 Plymouth,and the white is indeed called "Sand Dune White". The chips don't say if that's the Fury color or a regular series color. It is certainly possible that the name of the color was changed after the brochures were printed. That would make sense because the '57 color is obviously different than the '56 color (although there are other cases in Chrysler's history where the paint was changed and the name wasn't,"Sable Bronze" was lightened mid-year in 1951!).
