If it's 36" (36 7/8") long it IS an A-518 (the A-500 is 34½" long). The A-518 is a 727 with O/D,and the A-500 is a 904 with O/D, so I don't think the yoke is a go. Then again,these aren't trannies I work on! I even had to find out the measurement difference between the two,now I'll have to crawl under someone's '94 Ram and check the connections. The computer from the 'crate' A-518's might be the ticket if it has to use a computer.
