Wanted to know if any one out there has recently had parts re-chromed from a 56 Imperial? I guess I am having sticker shock after getting a bid for this service.. The real problems comes from the extensive use of plated "Pot metal" which I guess drives the price out of sight... Has any one else recently had plating done that can tell me that I am not a NUT CASE for considering spending $4000.00 for chrome work(not including bumpers) or is there a better place to go?
