I have been trying to tune in this carb for some time with no luck. The problem happens when the car is warm, pull up to stoplight or sign, downshift to first, start to let clutch out, slowly give it gas, engine starts to die, push clutch back in everything back to normal. I've check all adjustments for carb twice and everything is where it supposed to be. Is the engine flooding? I pulled a plug after this happened and the plug was wet, lots of soot on plug. I do have the lean setting as low as it can go. This is the single barrel 2568s carb. Also, will another, better(?) carb work on the six without to many changes. Thanks beforehand for any info, feedback.
