The original window sweepers appear to have been stapled on at the factory. The staples are harder than the door panels, but they're brittle and they snap when you try to take them off. I bought new sweepers from Andy Bernbaum, and at my local restoration supply house, I bought a set of very small screws whose heads will dissappear in the fibers of the sweepers. Look in Hemmings Motor News and Mopar Collectors Guide for suppliers of clips and fasteners.
